What is Ultrance?

Ultrance is a new fully-managed API gateway that also gives you the power to monetize your API. Ultrance is the ultimate API management solution that gives all the tools you need to secure, monitor and monetize your API. The main features of Ultrance include:

Why build Ultrance?

We built Ultrance because we saw a need for a simple, easy-to-use API management platform. There are other existing API gateways out there, but they are built for only large enterprises and are too complex and expensive. Ultrance is built to be simple, affordable and accessible to everyone. Other API gateways are also missing the ability to monetize your API, which is a key feature that we believe is essential for any API owner. We want to make it easy for you to generate revenue from your API and grow your business.

How does Ultrance work?

Ultrance acts as a gateway between your users and your API. When a user makes a request to your API, the request is first sent to Ultrance, where we authenticate the user, check their subscription plan and rate limits, among other things. If the request is valid, we forward it to your API, where your API performs your magic and sends back the response. If the request is invalid, we return an error to the user, meaning that your API servers only ever performs work' for valid requests, saving you time and money. Ultrance is built on top of cloudflare, meaning that we are fast, secure and reliable. This also gives us global distribution and low latency. We are built to offer blazingly fast speeds to ensure that your API is always available and responsive.
